New Hope High School Emergency Plan Information

If the school should have to be evacuated because of a dire necessity, all NHHS students will go to the new NHHS football field.  You may pick your child up from the football field house.  If the students must be transported to an alternate location because of rain or other weather-related concerns, there are two (2) alternate locations where your child could be taken.  New Hope Middle School Gymnasium would be the first option if a secondary reunification site must be picked.  The phone number at NHMS is 244-4740.  Mount Vernon Baptist Church is the third option if we are forced to evacuate the entire campus.  Their phone number is 328-3042 (located at 200 Mt. Vernon Road).  Your child may be picked up from one of these locations by a parent or guardian.  You must have a photo ID to sign your child out when they are picked up from that location.  Neither students nor parents will be allowed to return to campus to retrieve any personal belongings (including vehicles) until the emergency management team has cleared the campus and deemed it safe to return to.
